Message from Ward Chair Leslie Davis
Hello
fellow freedom fighters,
I want us to work together to take back the city of Minneapolis
leadership in order to fix a lot of problems. I'll name two problems
of greatest concern to me: 1. The out of control crime problem which
is due in large part to the drug war. 2. The financial problem due
to spending more money than we have. For example: did we need to
build a downtown library that is costing us $10 million a year for
30 years? Think about it. $300 million to build a library when we
already had one that only needed some modernizing. And the $300
million doesn't include the expenses to staff it, heat it or light
it. In addition, the city leaders destroyed our wonderful
planetarium that thousands of adults, and children on school trips,
would visit every year. It doesn't get more stupid than that does
it?
I am part of a group of new age Republicans who now control the
Minneapolis Republican Party. We are going to be working hard to get
the special interest, paid off politicians, out of our city
government. The sooner we get organized and throw them out the better
off, and safer, we and our families will be.
Who am I anyway? Some of you may know me as the president of the
Earth Protector environmental group or as a candidate for governor of
Minnesota. Many of you may know me from my weekly TV show on cable
access. In Minneapolis I am on Channel 6 every Tuesday at 6am,
Channel 16 every Tuesday at 7pm and Channel 16 every Wednesday at
7am. Tune in and let me hear from you. My contact information is
below.
My short bio: Prior to 1983, when I became a full-time freedom
fighter, I served in the U.S. Army, helped raise a family of four and
had a very successful 25-year career in sales, marketing,
manufacturing and trend analysis. I know my way around.
In the months ahead we will hold Ward 3 meetings to get acquainted.
My co-chair is Kathryn Schroeder, a professional business person and
one who cares about our city and our lives. She is a great asset to
the Minneapolis Republican Party.
We are going to be looking for candidates to help run for school
board, library board and city council offices. And especially for
mayor so we can get rid of Rybak who can't even remember to renew his
drivers license. Too many photo ops I guess. Anyway, in 2009 we can
flush him out of office with the rest of the city council. Let me
know if you want to run for one of the jobs that will be coming open.
Email me or call me at 612-522-9433....anytime.
Let's work together to take back our city Ward by Ward.
For liberty,
Leslie Davis
